The first poem that I read of Olds was Sex Without Love. The first book that I picked up was Satan Says and I believe that it is my favorite; then again I am that way with music as well. My other two favorites are The Dead and The Living and The Unswept Room. I found that I could relate/understand or I should say I was more passionate about more poems in these books. The title poem Satan Says, is a brilliant tale of every human’s relationship with good and evil, our morals. I find Sharon's honesty extremely refreshing and her work an inspiration, that you can make a difference, your words do matter; you just need to have the courage to share them.
